ദോഹ: ഖത്തറില് വ്യക്തികള് ഫോണ് വഴി വില്ക്കുകയോ വിപണനം നടത്തുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഭക്ഷ്യ ഉല്പ്പന്നങ്ങള് വാങ്ങരുതെന്ന് പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യ മന്ത്രാലയം മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കി. ഇത്തരം ഉല്പ്പന്നങ്ങള് രാജ്യത്തെ ഔദ്യോഗിക നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്ക്കോ അംഗീകൃത നടപടിക്രമങ്ങള്ക്കോ വിധേയമല്ലാത്തതിനാല് പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യത്തിന് ഭീഷണിയായേക്കാമെന്ന് മന്ത്രാലയം ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.
വിശ്വസനീയമായ ഉറവിടങ്ങളില് നിന്ന് മാത്രം ഭക്ഷ്യവസ്തുക്കള് വാങ്ങണമെന്നും ഔദ്യോഗിക സോഷ്യല് മീഡിയാ അക്കൗണ്ടിലൂടെയുള്ള ബോധവല്ക്കരണ സന്ദേശത്തില് ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രാലയം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. അതോറിറ്റിയുടെ മേല്നോട്ടത്തിനും പരിശോധനയ്ക്കും വിധേയമാകുന്ന, ലൈസന്സുള്ള ഭക്ഷ്യ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളില് നിന്ന് മാത്രം ഭക്ഷ്യ ഉല്പ്പന്നങ്ങള് വാങ്ങാന് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണമെന്നും മന്ത്രാലയം പൊതുജനങ്ങളോട് അഭ്യര്ത്ഥിച്ചു.

The Ministry of Public Health called for a ban on purchasing food products sold or marketed by individuals via telephone, stressing that these products are not subject to control and approved procedures, and may pose a risk to public health. The ministry stressed – through an awareness post on its official account on the X platform – that committing to purchasing from reliable sources protects your health and the health of the community, and enhances food security and public health. The ministry urged people to be careful to purchase food products from licensed food establishments that are subject to supervision and inspection.
