മനാമ: ബഹ്റൈനില് ഇറാന് ആക്രമണങ്ങളെ പിന്തുണച്ച 12 പേര്ക്ക് തടവും പിഴയും വിധിച്ച് ഹൈ ക്രിമിനല് കോടതി. രാജ്യം നേരിട്ട ഇറാനിയന് ആക്രമണങ്ങളെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുച്ചു, പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചു, അംഗീകരിക്കുകയും നിയമം ലംഘിച്ച് സുപ്രധാന വിവരങ്ങള് പ്രക്ഷേപണം ചെയ്തു, നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളുടെ ഫോട്ടോ എടുത്തു, സോഷ്യല് മീഡിയ വഴി തെറ്റായ വാര്ത്തകളും കിംവദന്തികളും പ്രചരിപ്പിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയ കുറ്റകൃത്യങ്ങളില് ഏര്പ്പെട്ടതിനാണ് നടപടി.
12 പ്രതികള്ക്ക് പത്ത് വര്ഷം തടവും ചിലര്ക്ക് രണ്ടായിരം ദിനാര് പിഴയുമാണ് ശിക്ഷ. പിടിച്ചെടുത്ത വസ്തുക്കള് കണ്ടുകെട്ടാനും കോടതി ഉത്തരവിട്ടു. അതേസമയം ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ പേര് വിവരങ്ങള് ലഭ്യമായിട്ടില്ല.

The High Criminal Court in the Kingdom of Bahrain issued rulings today, Monday, in eleven cases involving a number of people who committed crimes of supporting, encouraging and endorsing the heinous Iranian terrorist attacks on the Kingdom, obtaining and broadcasting prohibited vital data, photographing places where photography is prohibited, as well as broadcasting false news and rumors via social media, during the Iranian aggression to which the Kingdom of Bahrain was subjected. The court sentenced 12 defendants to ten years in prison, fined some of them two thousand dinars, and ordered the confiscation of the seized items
